As some of you might have noticed, the website has been updated a bit in some area’s… For those who haven’t been browsing as much, here’s what changed:

Project pages

I’m pleased to see that over the last couple of months an increase in published projects has resulted in a long list to choose from. However, this great increase in downloadable material and the pages going with it, made a very long list. Such a long list, I was unable to fit it on the screen of my netbook. Sure, I could see it all on my PC, but I use my netbook when not at home, and I assume that more people have such devices and we definately need to accommodate for that. So it was time to deal with that matter. As such, I’ve made 2 new subcategories (which can be subdivided further if needed):

  • A-M
  • N-Z

Basically the whole list was “cut” in half (more or less) and sorted alphabetically. It might not be the prettiest solution, but it was the most practical one and still gives each and every project equal exposure.

Help

The “help”-section has been added to the website, starting off with 2 video tutorials. I’m working on adding more, but I simply haven’t got around to that yet. Furthermore, we’re working on making some comprehensive tutorials for people to start building and creating their own projects. If you have any suggestions, you are more than welcome to provide input on our contact-page.

The idea is basically to create an online reference manual in addition to the pdf documents already available. Albert documented everything very well, but some people might prefer to have this information on-line, and we need to accommodate these people too. I myself prefer on-line over a downloadable document.

Facebook

How could I forget… We’re on Facebook too now. You can “like us”, if you didn’t already (just kidding)… All our news, updates and specials we post on our site, will get posted to Facebook too. So if you are a Facebook-junkie, or just surf on Facebook more than anywhere else on the web, our news will be conveniently provided on a (silver) platter to your Facebook wall.

If you don’t come to us, we’ll bring it to you. Bringing you the latest news, updates and specials, right on your doorstep. All you have to do is pick it up and play with it. Easy? Yup, that’s the idea 🙂

Upcoming…

There is more fun planned for the future, not just by me, but also by the contributors who made great projects already. If you have any ideas (i.e. for the website), we’d love to hear them. You can contact us directly, or post them in our forums. We’re always open to good ideas. If you have problems, let us know. If you love the program, let others know 😉
