Description

This railway models the junction between the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines at Rayners Lane during the high frequency period beginning just before 8:00 am and ending just after 10:00 am. Through services to and from Uxbridge are included for both lines, at 12 minute intervals in both directions, as is the Piccadilly line service from the south that terminates and turns back at Rayners Lane, also at 12 minute intervals.

Metropolitan services to and from Harrow-on-the-Hill travel via West Harrow, Piccadilly services to and from Subdury Hill travel via South Harrow, and all services to and from Uxbridge travel via Eastcote.

The junction is heavily used and foresight is needed in routing trains through it in order to avoid delays, which soon begin to mount up if earlier trains still aren’t clear when new ones appear.

Good luck!!
