The track layout and signal numbers are based on the current situation (i.e. post-2012 remodelling). Distances and track speed were taken from the relevant sections of the National Sectional Appendices. Each signal is marked as a named location so that trains stopping at junctions, as well as shunting movements could be simulated with ease. I’ve tried to keep everything as realistic as possible but there might be some simplifications and omissions.

Included is a 24-hour running timetable based on a Friday in November 2021. I have taken the train data from https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk. In the early hours I added some fictional services (sleeper trains and local freight services) to fill an otherwise very quiet period.

I’m happy to collaborate to further improve the simulation.
